Our Models With Multiple Mounting Options
MOD offers a variety of versatile solutions for adding power to your space in products like our Aficionado, Dalta, DOCK 1000, Maggie, and even our Mesa Tri. While these models come equipped with different power outputs and recommended use cases, the bracket nomenclature used means the same thing. In the rest of this article, we will clarify how each bracket is intended to be used.
STT and TT
Starting with our most popular mounting options we have the Table Top (TT) and the Split Table Top (STT), these are offered on our Dalta, Aficionado, and DOCK 1000. As the image below shows our regular Table Top (TT) is a simple clamp-on bracket with a thumb screw. The same thing is true for the Split Table Top (STT) mount, the difference is that the bracket can be split in the middle. The purpose of the STT is to provide a worksurface power where there’s limited access to place our typical TT bracket behind. With just a half inch of space, our STT has enough room for the bracket to connect in the middle for difficult-to-access furniture configurations.
PM
Our Pole Mount (PM) bracket is the solution for applications with a limited work surface and a pole-style monitor mount. To maximize work surface area or provide a convenient source of power our Pole Mount (PM) is offered on our Aficionado, Dalta, and Maggie. The PM does have to be used on a vertical monitor pole and is not recommended for other monitor mount types.
GM
MOD’s power options are not limited to thumb screws and clamps, for integrated solutions in furniture look no further than our Grommet Mount (GM). Our Grommet Mount (GM) is possible through a 3-inch Grommet and a hand-tightened nut. The only unit considered a Grommet Mount by name is our Mesa Tri GM, but our DOCK 200 and Pull-up series also have the same mounting design for a 3-inch grommet hole.
UT
Another efficient solution to maximizing work surface space is our Under Table (UT) mount attached through a couple of screws to the underside of your work surface. Our Under Table (UT) mount is offered on our Aficionado and Dalta. Space efficiency is not the only reason to choose this mounting option, a power product mounted at the edge near the user can be more convenient even in a large workspace.
TA
As the unicorn in the group, the Table Angle (TA) bracket is only offered on our DOCK 1000. The design of this bracket is to make the power more accessible to the user by angling the unit up for easier plug-in and release. Attaching the unit to a worksurface is, however, the same as a TT or STT with two thumb screws to attach to the surface.
